Quote:
“I knew exactly where to hide the chest so it would be difficult to find but not impossible. It’s in the mountains somewhere north of Santa Fe” – Forrest Fenn
Source:
TTOTC (our copy)
Mav’s Analysis:
The more interesting part of this hint from Forrest has nothing to do with it being North of Santa Fe — take a close look at “it’s in the mountains somewhere north of Santa Fe.” Do you think the word “mountains” was a generalization from Fenn? We don’t.
Think about it. TTOTC is one of the primary, if not the most primary source for hints / clues. Hidden in the mountains is the only blatant hint he gives before the actual poem.
There’s enough supporting evidence in related hints to conclude: if your solve is not in the mountains it’s likely the wrong solve. Check the related readings on other mountain related quotes.

What i don’t understood is in truth how you’re now not really a lot more smartly-favored than you might be now. You are so intelligent. You already know thus considerably in terms of this topic, made me individually imagine it from a lot of varied angles. Its like men and women don’t seem to be fascinated except it is something to accomplish with Girl gaga! Your individual stuffs great. Always take care of it up!
